CHAPTER TWENTY SIX
JUDGE ME NOT
We need to stop being judgmental as women and stop thinking we are always better than the next woman. Yes some of us are higher educated than others and more knowledgeable. Baby, but at the end of the day we are all equal. Your money wonât buy you a spot in GODâs Heaven, and it still will be here when you die. I know we all werenât meant to be a part of everybodyâs social circle, but be mindful of how you treat others. That same young woman you judged that passed you on the walk way may just be our next president. Neither you nor I know what the future holds.
Our sisters that are raised up in the most notorious neighborhoods still have something to offer to our society, it was meant to be that way. If everybody were on the same level of life than we wouldnât see the beauty that lies in our differences. So know that this was part of the design of life. Thatâs why some our best talents come from some of the worldâs most remote areas in society. That alone should let you know we shouldnât judge one another. People could become famous over night with little or no education, just raw talent. What we may see as nothing, another person may view as magnificent. Besides rich people shit stank too, Iâve followed some to the restroom. LOL
Charlotte was invited to a graduation party by her male friend whom she worked with. They were very close friends and it was his sonâs graduation. Charlotte was excited to attend. Charlotte was decked out in a lovely leopard print dress that slightly exposed her breast in a seductive yet classy fashion. She was not alone; her husband accompanied her to this event. Charlotteâs friend also brought his wife who seemed to be very offended by Charlotteâs apparel. His wife began whispering about Charlotte to another one of her friends at the party and Charlotteâs husband overheard everything that she told her.
Charlotte had already figured as much since they both had been given her looks ever since she had first arrived early on. So Charlotte pulled her coworker to the side and told him about the conversation that her husband overheard. The coworker replied maybe if she would dress more like you I wouldnât be having the extra marital affairs that Iâve been having because Iâd be more focused on her. Moral of the story is suit yourself. Make sure you know what pleases your own man at home before you judge the other woman.
Letâs stop talking about our girlfriends, the way they dress, the way they wear their hair or how they accessorize. Learn to embrace difference. What one may view as bad taste may be anotherâs style. After all sisterhood is about making a bond, not being judgmental. Itâs about love and understanding. This method will take you on a further journey on your ride thru life. Change is a virtue, letâs get started.
